The Dropbox Mobile is lacking key features that I had expected having used the Dropbox IOS app for iPhone or iPad. For example, it does not offer integration with the MS Office file system to allow one to create and save files as does the IOS app. It does not offer an apparent smart sync function as does the IOS app whereby one can minimize critical storage space on Microsoft Surface family. Dropbox Mobile is currently function-deficient when compared to the IOS version. I was hoping that my newly purchased Surface Book 2 would give me the utility that I have grown accustomed to on my iPad with the same amount of memory. For me to minimize Dropbox file space with smart sync I need to upgrade my Dropbox Plus subscription to Dropbox Professional at an additional $100. This seems like a marketing branding constraint.
