Game Description & Reviews:
Typical Zelda gameplay and easily regognisable graphics make this game incredably easy to pick up, but like all Zelda games there is alot to do if you are to truely complete the game. Many hours of gameplay and replay are what this game (and the rest of the line) is all about.
The First Zelda game I ever played. In the Zelda timeline it is likely this game is after Ocarina of time and Majora's mask. This is based on the idea that at the end of Ocarina of Time Link begins a journey, a journey that starts with Majora's mask but in the 3d games is never completed. This game is set when he has completed a journey and is on his way home to Hyrule so is likely that it is the same journey.
One piece of advice, if you are playing this online on this site i noticed the controls for a b are listed backwords, so a=z and b=x not the other way round, once you get past that happy journey.
One of the best games made for the Gameboy!
The gameplay reminds me very much of A Link to the Past, using many of the same items and layouts and such. Granted it's not the best Zelda game, considering it's on the Gameboy, but for a gameboy game, it's awesome! And a typical Zelda- what more can you want?
The storyline wasn't the greatest, either. To be honest, I thought it was quite strange and had no real signifigence. But oh well, Zelda isn't really known for it's storylines anyway, so at least the gameplay made up for the lacking story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game, but then again I'm a die-hard Zelda fan. If you're looking for a good RPG or just simply love Zelda games, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too!
Best music, best gameplay, and nostalgia to the max. I name this, by far the epic of the epics, because everything isn't literal like always, it has a deep meaning for those who thrive to look upon the best in life will only value.
Cap'n Holic rates this game: 4/5It may not be the best Zelda game out there but it was still one of my favorite gameboy titles. The game takes place on an island where you must collect musical insterments in order to get off. the game may not be like the other Zelda titles but it does bring back memories.
James rates this game: 5/5During a sailing voyage, Link becomes hopelessly sidetracked and finds himself shipwrecked on Koholint Island. While on the island, Link helps its many inhabitants by recovering the eight Instruments of the Sirens and waking the Wind Fish. Awaken the Wind Fish and all will be answered.
