- While Guude was staying at Seth's house for PAX Prime 2013, Guude says Seth changed his mind about joining Mindcrack, and accepted Guude's second invitation to join the server. Seth joined the Mindcrack Server in September 2013 using the alias NewMindcracker.

I've been trying to find a friendly community vanilla server for a long time, but everyone are jerks or grief and steal on the public ones.

Server will be opening Sunday, April 15, 2012
There is no whitelist on the server, player cap is currently set at 1,000, this may change after we stress test it.
The opening will be streamed on PauseUnpause's twitch.tv channel.
There are going to be contests for some free games this Sunday during the live stream, be it build contests, king of the ladder, spleef, etc.
Griefers/Assholes will be banned, this will be at the discretion of the host provider who will also be providing a team of admins to monitor the server for us.
The server IP will be announced as follows: First on the live stream, 2nd on twitter, 3rd with a YouTube video, all on Sunday, 15th.
Expect the server to crash, the provider doesn't think that is possible, but realistically when over 1000 try to join a server it is bound to crash I think. We will be changing the player threshold and working with this live, so expect a clusterfuck at first. We will get it worked out in the end.
The server runs Bukkit, pvp is turned off, there are pvp areas. TNT and fire spreading is also off, I know this sucks, but just a necessary measure.
Beyond this Sunday - We will do live streams often on the server and will give all of us a way to interact in game with people and all of us a way to give away some game and stuff like that.
To save the settings you need a user profile in the AutoCAD. To create a user profile type OP on the command line and press enter. The options window will pop up, in this window select profiles tab as shown in the image below. In closing, the idea here is to have a good time and hopefully we are able to provide a stable playing environment for everyone to join into.
